December is finally here! Can you believe 2018 is already drawing to a close? With all the ups and downs and the crazy events that transpired throughout, we can all agree that this year was very challenging. This year, our countrymen in the North suffered greatly from the disaster that Typhoon Ompong brought. The inflation rate for goods ballooned up to 6.4% this year as well. We all have our fair share of low points this year, but one thing’s for sure: there’s always a silver lining to these dark days.
Before we officially say goodbye to this rollercoaster of a year, let’s take a moment to look back on the good things that happened to us this year: the goals we have achieved, our career milestones, and personal breakthroughs.
This year is a good year of Acceler8. This year, we have reached our third year milestone in the coworking business and we couldn’t be prouder and happier.
Phinma Properties
Last September, we teamed up with a leader in real estate development in the country, PHINMA Properties, and through this partnership, we are opening our third coworking space in Makati, complete with all the amenities from our two other centers: serviced office suites, meeting rooms, dedicated desks, and a coworking area.
Ayala Land Office’s Clock In
Working with a reputable corporation like PHINMA Properties is no stranger to Acceler8 since we have worked with Ayala Land Offices’ Clock In last 2017 and reached a 100% occupancy rate in just 2 months–through the social media campaign #BeginWithUs that mostly attracted startups and corporations.
Furthermore, our partnership with PHINMA Properties is not just a huge milestone for Acceler8, but also brings huge opportunities for these developers to invest and contribute in the coworking industry.

As we look back on an incredible year, some of our coworkers have also shared with us some of their milestones this 2018.
Monica Ong of Transbiz shared that her greatest achievement this year is that she has a breakthrough in her artistic career. Her paintings will be sold in Australia soon and we are so excited to celebrate this achievement with her.
Serica Rojas of Serica Visuals shared with us that this year, she finally got to move out and be independent, she also got to start her own startup, Serica Visuals.
Dre Agar of Brand_It shares that this year, he graduated from college and that he immediately was able to get a job right out of college.
We are very proud of our milestones as well as the achievements of our coworkers this year! Truly, it has been a very fruitful year, albeit challenging. So go ahead, give yourself a pat on the back, pour yourself a nice glass of wine, and take it easy. After all, you deserve it.
